Xavier Woodson started Think Different Consulting with a simple but powerful vision: to create workplaces where mental health and well-being are not afterthoughts, but priorities that drive lasting success.
His journey began in 2018, when the idea for Think Different Consulting first took shape. After years of leading an outpatient community mental health clinic, overseeing residential programs, and implementing mental health initiatives within higher education, Xavier witnessed firsthand how organizational culture, policies, and leadership directly impact both employees and outcomes. These experiences inspired him to create a consulting model that blends clinical expertise with practical workplace strategies.
A proud graduate of Huston-Tillotson University (BA in Psychology) and Houston Baptist University (MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling), Xavier brings both professional expertise and personal passion to his work. He is dedicated to helping organizations rethink how they support their teams—whether through stress management, policy development, or leadership training—so that both employees and companies thrive.
When he’s not consulting, Xavier is passionate about community growth, mentorship, and finding new ways to spark conversations around mental health. For him, Think Different Consulting is more than a business—it’s a mission to reshape how organizations care for their people.

Dr. Akua Twumasi is a seasoned educator, administrator, and leader with over a decade of experience driving organizational growth and cultivating high-performing teams. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Science Education from the University of Missouri – Columbia, followed by a Master’s in Educational Leadership and a Doctorate in Executive Educational Leadership, both from Houston Baptist University.
Her career began as a high school science teacher and coach, where she quickly established herself as a mentor and motivator. She later transitioned into school leadership, serving as an Assistant Principal at Aldine ISD’s MacArthur Senior High School, where she oversaw multiple departments including Athletics, Science, CTE, and ESL. In 2020, she became Regional Athletic Director for 36 Houston-based KIPP Schools, before stepping into her current role as leader of all athletic programs at the Young Women’s Leadership Academy in Fort Worth, where she also serves as Head Volleyball and Flag Football Coach.
A lifelong competitor and learner, Dr. Twumasi brings her passion for leadership, coaching, and organizational development into her work with Think Different Consulting. She specializes in leadership growth, performance culture, and team development, helping organizations align their vision with strategies that empower both leaders and employees.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Akua is a dedicated wife and proud mother to her daughter, Masai. Whether coaching, mentoring, or consulting, she lives by the philosophy that strong leadership and teamwork are the foundation of lasting success.
